  1. Take lentils in a bowl and wash it. Cut the broccoli in pcs and wash them too.
  2. Add the lentils in pressure cooker, add salt and turmeric powder and 2 cup of water.
  3. Cover the lid and cook for 15 minutes. Once the lentils cooks keep it aside.
  4. In a vok add 1 tbsp oil add broccoli and fry them for 3- 4 minute.
  5. Once the broccoli fried take it out and keep aside.
  6. In the same vok add 1 tbsp oil and ghee, add whole cumin.
  7. Add chopped onion and green chilli, fry for 1-2 min and add chopped tomato.
  8. Next add red chilli powder and fry for 2 minute Then add cooked lentils.
  9. Add water if required and adjust the thickness of lentils. Bring it to boil. Then add fried pieces of broccoli.
  10. Serve hot with rice, paratha or chapati.

Likewise, broccoli and carrots can be swapped with veggies of your choice. Good balance of textures with the feta, lentils and broccolini. We ate this along with salmon for a more well balanced meal. We had fresh lemon rather than roasted as it can. The broccoli that you see in the grocery is actually the buns of the broccoli flower that will open be pollinated and produce seeds.
