  1. Soap rajma and urad dal for 6-7 hours. You can do it early in the morning if you are planning to cook for lunch
  2. Now while preparing it, boil the dal and rajma in pressure cooker for 20 minutes. Add a pinch of salt while boiling.
  3. Take a pan, add oil and sliced onion. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it well. Add a pinch of salt as per your taste
  4. Separately, take the cup of milk, add garam masala, chilly powder, turmeric powder, methi and jeera powder. Mix it well
  5. Once the onion are sauted well, add the masala liquid paste made in above step. Saute it well for 5 mins.
  6. Now mix the boiled dal to the pan and keep it on stove for 5 mins.
  7. You can add butter/ makkhan as per your taste. I would recommend adding 2-3 spoons.Mix it well.
  8. Ready to be served hot
