  1. For idly dhokla : take a vessel and add filtered besan, semolina and mix well.
  2. After that add ginger garlic and green chilly paste, turmeric, salt, crushed sugar, oil and asafoetida and combine well.
  3. Further add curd and stir well.
  4. After that add water as required and stir till medium thick batter. Now add fruit salt eno and stir well about 5-7 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes take a idli maker stand greace it with oil and spread the batter. Meanwhile put water in bottom of steamer and heat it.
  6. Now put the idli stands in the steamer. And heat it in low medium flame till 35 minutes. Meanwhile check it with toothpick.
  7. For tempering : take a pan or small vessel add oil, mustard seed, curry leaves, asafoetida, sesame seeds and wait for 2 minutes. Now add little water, sugar and lemon juice and wait for 2 minutes till sugar dissolves.
  8. Now add tempering to idly dhokla. Now it's ready. Serve it with coconut chutney, tomato ketchup or green coriander chutney.
