  1. Get 300 gms moong dal
  2. Prepare 200 sugar
  3. Prepare 200 gms khoya
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp jowar flour
  5. Take 3 tbsp chopped almonds
  6. Get 3/4 cardamoms
  7. Get 100 gms desi ghee
Instructions to make Jowar & moong dal Halwa:
  1. Clean and Wash the moong dal and soak it in water for 3/4 hrs
  2. Take out the moong dal from water and grind it(Don't grind it too fine)
  3. Heat the frying pan and put ghee and moong dal and jowar flour in the pan and stir in med flame.In 12/15 mins moong dal will be properly cooked
  4. Put mawa(khoya) in a seperate pan and cook on low flame.Then mix it in the moong dal.put sugar and water in a utensil and heat it.Mix this syrup in the moong dal along with almonds and cardamoms.Now stir this halwa on low flame.
  5. In about 5/7 mins halwa will be ready garnish it with almonds
