Prepare 2 cups maida/all-purpose flour

Take For Tandoor marination
Take 4 tbsp gram flour/ besan
Make ready 1/2 cup thick curd
Take 3 tbsp hot mustard oil
Make ready 1 tsp kasuri methi
Get 1 tsp chat masala
Prepare 1 tsp Kashmiri Lal mirch
Get 1/2 tsp black salt
Prepare 1/2 tsp garam masala
Prepare 1 Tsp lemon juice
Take 2 tsp Coriander leaves
Make ready As required Food colour (Optional)
Get For Serving momos-
Get As required Lemon to garnish
Take As required Onion to garnish
Slather in tandoori paste and cook under intense heat for heavenly smokiness. This is a lipsmackingly delicious momos recipe made with a tandoori marination. It taste amazing when served piping hot with a bowl of mint chutney. Tandoori Momos- This recipe particularly is very close to my heart.
Instructions to make Tandoori momos:
First, knead momos dough by adding all-purpose flour, salt, oil & water as per requirement.
Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes.
Now take pan, put 2 tsp oil add garlic, ginger and vegetables, soya sauce, vinegar, salt etc and saute well, do not over cook and keep it aside till the vegetables cool down.
With the dough roll thin and small rounds and add the stuffing in them. Cover it by making pleats.
Now you can deep fry these momos or you can steam cook them as well, transfer it to kitchen towl or tissue paper to remove excess oil.
Prepare the marination by adding all the ingredients into a big mixing bowl, Add the smoked mustard oil by heating it up on high flame.
Mix the marination well, and now put the momos one by one and coat them well using your hands gently.
Let them rest for 2,3 minutes& then you can use wooden/ iron skewers and directly grill them over the flame. Or you can pan fry these momos on a grilling pan.
Sprinkle some chat masala, Serve hot with salad and dip. :)
