The ingredients needed to make Prawn Biryani:
  1. Make ready 1 kg prawns (cleaned)
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp oil
  3. Prepare Whole garam masala for prawns
  4. Take 9 cloves
  5. Prepare 9 black pepper
  6. Take 3 cardamom
  7. Prepare 1 stick cinnamon
  8. Prepare 1 tsp cuminseeds
  9. Take 1 bay leaf
  10. Prepare 3 onions sliced
  11. Get 2 tomatoes chopped
  12. Get 2 tsp ginger garlic and chilli paste
  13. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  14. Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Take 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. Take 1 tsp garam masala powder
  17. Take 1 tsp salt
  18. Get 1 tsp Biryani masala(check in my recipe list)
  19. Prepare 2 cups mixed vegetables (your choice)
  20. Take 3 cup basmati rice soaked in water
  21. Prepare 2 potatoes died and fried
  22. Prepare 2-3 green slit chillies
  23. Make ready 1 cup coriander leaves and mint leaves chopped
  24. Prepare 1 tbsp lemon juice
  25. Get 1 cup fried onions
  26. Take 3 food colour red,green and yellow
  27. Make ready as required Biryani rice
  28. Get 4 black pepper
  29. Make ready 3 cardamom
  30. Make ready 1 tsp cumin seeds
  31. Prepare 3 cloves
  32. Make ready 1 bay leaf
  33. Prepare 3 tbsp salt
Steps to make Prawn Biryani:
  1. First chopped all the vegetables, remove whole garam masala for prawns in a plate.Now heat oil in a vessel and add in garam masala with sliced onions and saute for few minutes.
  2. Now add ginger,garlic and chilli paste, tomatoes,turmeric, red chilli powder,salt and coriander powder.saute few minutes
  3. Now add prawns with garam masala powder and Biryani masala powder and mix well.now add the vegetables and mix well.
  4. Now lastly add coriander leaves, mint leaves,slit green chillies,lemon juice with fried potatoes and mix well.now prawns masala is ready
  5. Now boil rice with above ingredients from Biryani rice in sufficient water. When rice is 80% done strain in colander.now take one big vessel. Now make each layer of rice with layer of prawn masala.now on last later put some drops of food colour. Cover the lid and simmer for 10 mins.
  6. Open the lid and mix up from sides.ganish with fried onions, serve hot and enjoy3
