The ingredients needed to make Mix Daal:
Take 1 tsp oil
Prepare 1/4 cup too
Get 1/4 chana dal
Make ready 1/4 moong dal
Get 1/4 cup masoor dal
Get 3 cup water
Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric
Take 1 tsp ghee /clarified butter
Get 1 tsp cumin /jeera
Take 3 pods cardamom
Take 1 bay leaf/tej patta
Take 2 dried red chillies slit
Take 1 tsp ginger garlic pasta
Prepare 1 tomato finely chopped
Take 1/4 turmeric
Take 1 tsp salt
Take 1/2 cup water
Get 2 tbsp coriander finely chopped
Instructions to make Mix Daal:
Finstly. In a kadai heat 1 tbsp ghee saute 1tsp cumin 3pods cardamom 1by leaf and 2 dried red chillies.
Also Add1 onion,2 green chilli, 1tsp ghee and saute 1tsp ginger garlic paste and saute well.
Additional, add 1 tomato and saute till the tomatoes turn soft till the tomatoes turns soft and mushy.
Now add 1/4 tsp turmeric. 1tsp salt and mix well.
Add pressure cooked dal making sure dal has cooked well.
Also add1/2 cup water or more adjusting consistency as required
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or till dal adsorb flavour.
Now add 1/4tsp garam masala and 2 tbsp coriander. Mix well.
Finally serve mix dal fry with hot steamed nice or Roit.
