Pasta Upma is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It is appreciated by millions daily. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. Pasta Upma is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

The ingredients needed to make Pasta Upma:
  1. Prepare 1 cup pasta, boiled al dente
  2. Make ready 1 cup mixed veggies, cut lengthwise
  3. Make ready As required (beans, carrot, beetroot, peas, red cabbage, potato, etc)
  4. Make ready 2 tbsp oil
  5. Get 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  6. Make ready 1 tsp urad dal (split black gram)
  7. Get 1 sprig curry leaves
  8. Take 1 onion, chopped
  9. Make ready 1-2 green chilies, chopped
  10. Make ready 1 tsp grated ginger
  11. Get to taste salt
  12. Get 1 tsp coriander powder
  13. Get 1 tsp sambar powder
  14. Prepare 1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Steps to make Pasta Upma:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds. After it stops spluttering, add the urad dal, onion, ginger, green chilies and curry leaves.
  2. Saute till light brown. Add the veggies and all the dry spices. Give it a stir and add 1/2 cup water. Cover and simmer till the veggies are cooked.
  3. Now add the boiled pasta. Stir fry for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve for breakfast / snack along with some chutney.
