Vada Pav is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions every day. They’re fine and they look fantastic. Vada Pav is something that I’ve loved my whole life.

The ingredients needed to make Vada Pav:
  1. Get For the spiced potato mix:
  2. Take boiled and mashed potatoes
  3. Prepare green chillies, chopped
  4. Get asafoetida
  5. Get chat masala
  6. Prepare coriander seed powder
  7. Get garam masala powder
  8. Make ready Salt as per taste
  9. Make ready fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  10. Take For the batter:

  12. Get water or as required

  23. Prepare Black salt as per taste
  24. Prepare For the dry garlic chutney:
  25. Prepare garlic cloves chopped coarsely
  26. Get desiccated coconut
  27. Make ready th cup roasted peanut
  28. Get coriander seed
  29. Get kashmiri red chili (whole)

  31. Prepare Salt as per taste
  32. Take Other Ingredient:
  33. Take pav (bread)
  34. Get chopped onion (optional)
  35. Get Oil for deep frying
Steps to make Vada Pav:
  1. Preparing Green Chutney: Grind everything in a blender with water until smooth paste is formed. Place it aside.
  2. Preparing Dry Garlic Chutney: Take little oil on a pan. Fry the garlic and red Kashmiri red chilliesfor 1-2 mins mins on low heat. Now add the desiccated coconut, roasted groundnut and coriander seeds.Saute for 2 mins and add salt. Blend all the ingredients together until coarse mixture is formed.Place it aside.
  3. Preparing Vada Filling: Take a big bowl and mix mashed potatoes, chopped green chilies,chat masala, garam masala, coriander powder, salt and chopped coriander leaves all together.Combine all nicely. Make medium sized balls.Place aside.
  4. Preparing the vadas: Prepare the batter by mixing all the ingredients. The batter should be smooth and thick enough to coat the vadas. Place a pan with oil on high heat. Once oil is hot reduce to medium. Dip the vadas in the batter and coat from all sides. Fry until golden brown and crisp from all sides. Slit the pav from center. Apply the green chutney on both sides of the pav and spread some dry garlic chutney inside. Place one vada in each pav.
  5. Serve hot with some chutney and sev.
  6. Tips: 1.)The batter has to be thick for the coating of vadas. Please don't add too much water. 2.)You can also use bread roll or slices if the pav is not available.
