  5. once all red is cooked from steak, add mushrooms and onions, season with salt pepper and garlic salt to taste. cover let simmer on medium low heat until prefered texture of onions and mushrooms.
  6. follow directions on gravy packet by mixing well with cold water, then add to skillet with everything else. stir well and cover. allow to simmer.
  7. remove pot of cabbage from stove and drain well, add butter, salt and pepper.
  8. remove skillet from heat
  9. spoon cabbage into bowl first, then spoon out meat, onions and mushrooms onto top of cabbage, pour the gravy/juice mix over top and enjoy.
