Take For Making Kadai Masala:
Prepare 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
Get 1/2 tsp Black Peppercorns
Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds

Take 200 gms Paneer (Store Bought)
Prepare 4 tbsp Cooking Oil
Get 1/4 cup Onion (Cubes)
Get 1/4 cup Tomato (Cubes)
Get 1/4 cup Green Bell Pepper (Cubes)
Make ready 1 tbsp Butter
Take 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Make ready 1/2 cup Onion (Finely Chopped)
Get 1 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Make ready 1 tsp Ginger Juliennes
Prepare 3/4 cup Ground Tomato Puree
Get 1 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
Take 1 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
Make ready 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
Make ready 3 tbsp Tomato Puree (Store Bought)
Get As per taste Salt
Take 3 tbsp Amul Cream
Prepare 1 tsp Honey
Prepare 100 ml Water (More or Less according to desired consistency)
Steps to make Restaurant Style Kadai Paneer:
Firstly, make the Kadai masala. In a pan, add coriander seeds, black peppercorns, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and dried red chillies. Dry roast until slightly brown and releases aroma. Allow it to cool. Transfer it into a mixer jar and grind it into a coarse powder. Set it aside.
In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add the onion, tomato and green bell pepper cubes and fry on high for a minute or two. Transfer them on to a plate and set aside. Cut the paneer into cubes and keep it in hot water for 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, heat remaining oil and butter.
Add cumin seeds and allow it to sizzle for 30 seconds.
Add the finely chopped onions and saute until soft and pink.
Add the ginger garlic paste and ginger Juliennes and saute till the raw smell leaves.
Add the ground tomato puree and saute on high for 2-3 minutes.
Add kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, kadai masala and tomato puree. Saute on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add salt and water and cook until the masala releases oil. Ie. For about 4-5 minutes.
Add cream and mix. Cook for a minute or two.
Now add the fried onion, tomato and green bell pepper cubes and the paneer cubes and mix it well.
Add honey and cook only for a minute. Garnish with ginger juliennes.
Restaurant Style Kadai Paneer is ready. Serve it with hot roti, paratha, naan and some onion rings.
