Tofu Eggless "Egg" Salad is one of our favorite vegan food transformations. Made with firm tofu and vegan mayonnaise instead of hard-boiled eggs and eggy mayo, this a treat on fresh bread or stuffed into pita. You can also dollop it onto a green salad for extra protein. Unlike regular tofu (Chinese-style), silken tofu has a softer consistency because of the high water content.

Egg and eggless tofu is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. They’re fine and they look wonderful. Egg and eggless tofu is something which I have loved my whole life.

The ingredients needed to make Egg and eggless tofu:
  1. Make ready 1 mudu of soya beans
  2. Get 4 tbsp Tsamin kanti
  3. Prepare 13 litres water

I make this quiche without eggs. The tofu gives it a good texture. I've brought it to potlucks where friends aren't vegetarian.no one ever knew! Squeeze block of tofu over sink and remove as much water as possible.

Steps to make Egg and eggless tofu:
  1. Start by washing your soya beans till clean and take it to grinding then sieve it with large muslim cloth/dankwalin tata and separate from the shaft.
  2. Then put the strained milk on fire and let it boil don't go far cause it will form up, if you want to make soya milk now is the time to take the boiled milk and keep to cool down add flavour and sugar to taste
  3. This is the tsamin kanti, put 4tbsp water to dissolve it
  4. As Soon as it starts boiling then put in your tsami, you will see how it will separate just like in the picture
  5. Get a big container that will hold all the water, then put a colander on top, get your clean sack and pour it over to remove excess water, but be careful as not to over do it, make sure the water is not all drained out cause the tofu will be so hard after frying
  6. Remove and cut into your desired shape
  7. If you want it with egg then break your egg in a bowl and add your seasoning to taste dip your tofu in the egg and fry till golden brown
  8. Enjoy it hot
  9. And if you want an eggless tofu get your seasoning to taste in a bowl and add water to it, dip your tofu in the seasoned water and fry till golden brown
  10. Enjoy it hot

Also add celery seed, black pepper, parsley and celery if you like them.
