Instructions to make Dahl Salad:
  1. Soak lentils for 20 minutes
  2. Finely chop garlic, ginger, celery and onion.
  3. Heat oil in saucepan and add all ingredients except lentils.
  4. Fry off until paste like.
  5. Drain lentils and place into another saucepan. Cover them with water, bring to the boil then simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add the lentils to the paste.
  7. Serve on lettuce leaves with natural greek yoghurt and chopped tomato.
