The ingredients needed to make Nut Bread:
  1. Get 2.5 cups all purpose flour
  2. Make ready 2 tbsp sugar
  3. Make ready 1 tsp salt
  4. Take 2 tsp yeast
  5. Prepare 1 handful pistachio nuts
  6. Get Half a handful of raisins
  7. Prepare Some groundnuts
  8. Make ready Some milk
  9. Take 4 tbsp dessicated coconut

  1. Mix all dry ingredients including the nuts & raisins.
  2. Add the milk and mix/knead using your hand until you get a consistent dough, then cover with a cloth and leave in a warm place to proof.
  3. Once it's risen to double the size of the dough, knead the dough again for a few minutes.
  4. Grease your bread tin or any baking tin of your choice, then shape the dough and place it in the baking tin.
  5. Cover and place in a warm place again, and leave it till it proofs to double it's original size.
  6. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to around 200°C
  7. When the dough's proofed enough, brush it with beaten egg white, then pop it in the oven.
  8. 20-30 minutes should be able to get it well done.
